Accommodation:

Kurt Safari makes use of the newly renovated Umbhaba Eco Lodge. It is just outside Hazyview & very close to the Kruger National Park. In the event that they do not have availability, we make use of Sanbonani lodge or Numbi Hotel in Hazyview.

Departure & Location:

We will collect you from hotels and lodges within a 5km radius of the OR Tambo International Airport between 6 - 6:30, then the collection of clients at the bus terminal airport at 6:45 am. Transport to the airport is available with the Gautrain from Sandton/ Pretoria or Uber services. Please confirm the place of accommodation when booking this tour.

Itinerary

Early transfer from Johannesburg in Kurt Safaris closed vehicles.

Day 1:

• Pick-up at OR Tambo international airport or surrounding lodges (5km radius).
• Full-day Panorama tour.
• Lunch at own account 

Collection at OR Tambo international airport or surrounding lodges will be between 6:00 - 7:30 am. Our offices will advise clients of the pickup time the day before. Today you will follow the picturesque Panorama route, heading past unique small towns like Dullstroom & Lydenburg. They will visit the Blyde River Canyon (the world's 3rd largest canyon), as well as Bourkes luck potholes, followed by Lisbon Falls and the famous Gods Window, enjoying lunch en-route. The last stop is a peaceful little town called Graskop where you will enjoy a wide variety of curio shopping before heading to your accommodation for the next few nights, arriving late afternoon. Leisure time is enjoyed after dinner before the next day's safari.

Day 2 & 3:

• Full day safari in open vehicles
• Lunch for own account
• Dinner & breakfast included

Today we will depart the lodge early with breakfast packs. Our guides will do their best to ensure various wildlife encounters in different areas of the Kruger. The Guide will stop for breakfast & lunch at different rest camps and return to the lodge around 3:30 - 4:00 pm. Clients can enjoy some leirure time before dinner at the lodge.

Day 4:

• Morning safari in an open vehicle & transfer to JHB in a Quantum.
• Only breakfast included.

Clients are collected with packed breakfasts and set off on another safari to ensure as many animal sightings as possible. They return to the lodge around 10 - 11 am for their transfer back to OR Tambo and surrounding hotels, arriving between 5 - 6 pm.
