Our one day tour to Kruger National Park departs from Johannesburg or Pretoria at about 5 am.

Kruger National Park, in northeastern South Africa is 19,485 square kilometres. Its high density of wild animals includes the Big 5: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. Hundreds of other mammals make their home here, as do diverse bird species such as vultures, eagles and storks. Mountains, bush plains and tropical forests are all part of the landscape.
Kruger National Park is one of the largest Game Reserves in Africa and It is now part of The Great Limpopo Frontier Park a Peace Park that links Kruger National Park with the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe, and with the Limpopo National Park in Mozambique.

Driving the many routes of Kruger with a full time FGASA & DEAT registered guide, gives you the best that Kruger has to offer. Your guide knows the best routes to take to enjoy optimum game viewing, he will share bush lore with you and can give you information about the incredible animals that you encounter as you make your way through one of the Worlds Premier Game Watching places. Kruger Park is about the size of Israel and home to most herbivores and carnivores indigenous to Africa. There are about 500 species of birds listed in Kruger. Your chances of some incredible encounters with African animals is very high.
Mountains, bush plains and tropical forests are all part of the landscape. Each area, from thorn tree and Red Bush-Willow Veld, to Knob-Thorn and Marula Veld and Mopane Veld will have its favoured feeders on the trees and grass types and your guide will know where to take you to increase the probability of viewing the animals you want to see.
En route to the Kruger National Park a breakfast stop is made in the Machadodorp area at about eight-o-clock. The trip usually takes about 5 hours.
After check-in at the gate, we immediately start our day's game driving. Although one will not cover the entire park in one day, Kruger National Park has on more than one occasion showed our guests the big 5 on our one day Kruger Park safaris.
We spend about 3 hours game viewing before we stop for lunch at Afsaal or one of the rest camps.
Another game drive is done after lunch as we head for the exit gate.
Your guide will aim to leave Kruger National Park at around 3 or 4pm and head back to Johannesburg or Pretoria.
Arrival in Johannesburg is usually at about 20h30.
This is a day in the wilderness of Africa and you will leave with many great memories.
