This is a guided bike ride through the community to feel the pulse of daily life. Your guide will provide local insights as you go past schools, crèches, churches, cattle dips and taverns. This is a great way to get to experience the life of the local people in rural Kwazulu Natal.
As an option, buy an indigenous tree from a local ‘treepreneur’ for R50, to plant on the edge of the Wetland, aiding conservation of this important area and offsetting your carbon footprint. On your way back, stop at Gugulamandlovu tavern for a very welcome cold drink.
