Hout Bay:
Hout Bay is a destination on its own. (Afrikaans: Houtbaai, meaning "Wood Bay") is a lively fishing village 20km from Cape Town central known for its scenic views, the best fish and chips and the neighbourhood's most loved market. The Cape Fur Seal Sanctuary is on Duiker Island which is just around the corner of the massive rocky mountain called The Sentinel that stands guard over the harbour. Seals gambol and 'flipper wave' all around the harbour and are part of the charm of this lovely coastal town.
Ocean Kayaking:
This is a chance to get out on the open ocean and get a spectacularly different view of Cape Town's beautiful coastline and mountains. This is a great outdoor activity for the whole family. You will also encounter other amazing marine life as your kayak guide leads you around the bay.
