Description
Sit back and let us do the driving. Enjoy free Wifi on the bus whilst you listen to some wine commentary as we depart from Cape Town in the morning and head to Franschhoek. Franschhoek is a quaint village in a picturesque valley that was settled by the French Huguenots in the 17 century. It is hemmed in by wine estates and dotted with gourmet restaurants.
On arrival you will be afforded the opportunity to join the Orange or Purple tram routes. Each circular route covers 8 Wine Estates. The tram or tram buses pass each wine estate hourly, for you to hop on and hop off. Enjoy a complimentary wine tasting on the double decker tram!
Realistically you will manage to visit 4 or 5 estates during the course of a day. You are free to enjoy a wine tasting or lunch (not included in the price) at any of the estates. For lunch, we suggest you book ahead. Telephone numbers can be found on the booking confirmation you will receive.
You are welcome to purchase wine at any of the estates and leave your purchase with one of the tram drivers, who will ensure you are re-united with your purchase at the time of boarding the motor-coach back home! At 4:00 PM, head back to the motor coach for your transfer back to Cape Town.

Tour returns to V&A Waterfront (Stop 1) at approximately 17h00. Use the Red Route buses to get back into the CBD or the Green Route bus back to the Atlantic seaboard as far as Camps bay.
