Transportation can either be by a safari minibus or by 4×4 Land Cruiser (Jeep), depending on your choice or budget too.

Day 1: Nairobi – Tsavo West
Depart Nairobi in the morning driving along Nairobi-Mombasa Highway to Tsavo West National Park arriving Sentrim Tsavo in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the vast park, searching for the herds of the red elephants as well as other resident game including lions. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp.

Day 2: Tsavo West
Spend the entire day in Tsavo West National Park, a park that contains a diversity of habitats and a mountainous scenic landscape and teams with wildlife – the lion, buffalo, elephant, cheetah, leopard, hippo, rhino and thousands of savannah wildlife. Morning and afternoon game drive including a visit to Mzima Springs, (North of the park) where hippos and fish can be seen in crystal clear water that has filtered underground from Chyulu Hills gushing below a lava ridge into a series of clear pools. All meals and overnight at Sentrim Tsavo.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Amboseli
After breakfast, drive through “Shetani” Lava Flows to Amboseli arriving Sentrim Amboseli Camp well in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park, a park famous for its big game and great scenic beauty whose entire landscape is dominated by Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp.

Day 4: Amboseli
Spend the day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight at the Sentrim Amboseli Camp.

Day 5: Amboseli – Nairobi – Mt Kenya
Depart after an early breakfast and drive via Nairobi with picnic lunch boxes enroute through Kikuyu countryside to the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya. Proceed for a visit to the Mau Mau caves with optional horse riding. Dinner and overnight at Bantu Mountain Lodge.

Day 6: Mt Kenya – Samburu
Depart after breakfast and drive further north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving Sentrim Samburu Camp in time lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp.

Day 7: Samburu
Spend the day in Samburu, with an early morning and late afternoon game drive. Samburu is a beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Optional activities include a visit to a local Samburu village, camel riding and guided nature and bird walks. All meals and overnight at Sentrim Samburu Camp.

Day 8: Samburu – Marsabit
Depart after breakfast and drive to Marsabit National Park arriving for lunch at Chicho Hotel. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 9: Marsabit
Spend the day in Marsabit with morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight at Chicho Hotel.

Day 10: Marsabit – Loiyangalani
After breakfast drive to Loiyangalani arriving for lunch at Malabo Resort. Afternoon activities including visits to Lake Turkana, Desert Museum and Eliye Springs. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 11: Loiyangalani
Spend the day in Loiyangalani with a visit to the Central Island National Park. All meals and overnight at Malabo Resort.

Day 12: Loiyangalani – Maralal
Depart after breakfast and drive to Maralal arriving for lunch at Ngari Hill Guesthouse. Afternoon visit Maralal Game Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse.

Day 13: Maralal
Spend the day in Maralal with optional activities including camel riding, whitewater rafting and a visit to the old Kenyatta House. All meals and overnight at Ngari Hill Guesthouse.

Day 14: Maralal/Lake Bogoria
After breakfast drive to Lake Bogoria Game Reserve arriving for lunch at Lake Bogoria Resort & Spa. Afternoon visit to the hotsprings and geysers. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 15: Bogoria – Lake Nakuru
Depart after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving for lunch at Flamingo Hill Camp. Afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp.

Day 16: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
Another morning game drive in Nakuru, then depart for Naivasha arriving Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari at Crescent Island, one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals – there are no predators. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 17: Naivasha – Maasai Mara
Depart after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara, arriving Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive as you get a feel of this vast game filled reserve. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 18 & 19: Maasai Mara
Spend two days in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). Morning and afternoon game drives. There will also be an optional visit to a local Maasai village. All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
