From this beautiful setting you leave to travel a short distance to Dinokeng Game Reserve which is a 400 hectare nature reserve with the Big Five [elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo,rhino].  It is the first free-roaming big 5 residential game reserve in Gauteng Province and is a convenient short day-drive from the hub of Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Enjoy a three hour game walk with a knowledgeable guide to entertain you with his bush lore and information on animal behaviour.  Get up close and personal with Africa's wild game. 

After your safari, Zebra Country Lodge is a splendid place to spend some time.  Enjoy lunch at the restaurant or take a swim in one of the pools at the lodge. 

With splendid views over far off hills and a series of running streams (Zebra Mountain Lodge); a lakeside with a distinct ambiance. (Zebra Stables).

Kids

It’s always better to enjoy family times in a Malaria free zone, and Zebra Lodge offers just that. Children of all ages are welcome at Zebra Lodge. They can share accommodation with their parents – extra beds are available on request. Children under the age of 12 pay 50% of the adult rate; children under the age of 2 stay free of charge.

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted on the walking safaris for safety reasons, but there are shorter guided tours around the circumference of the camp for them.
