The Southern African ocean, where two mighty oceans meet, is one of the marine richest waters in the world. This 2h30 cruise on the open ocean is guaranteed to thrill and excite!

Come and meet the Ocean’s Marine Big 5 – whale, dolphin, seal, penguin and great white shark. Each trip is led by experienced marine guides who will share their knowledge with you, keeping the emphasis on the welfare and conservation of the animal. Responsible tourism is the main objective so the focus is on conservation, education, community upliftment and safety. Southern Right Whale sightings guaranteed from June – early December.  They travel from the Antarctic to our warmer seas to mate and breed and the spectacle of hundreds of these fascinating mammoths congregating and cavorting is almost spiritual! 

Your journey from Cape Town to the Great White House in Kleinbaai where your cruise starts, is a wonderful scenic adventure. On arrival you will find bathroom facilities, as well as a restaurant and gift shop here.   Every trip is preceded by a brief introductory talk about the route and what to look out for. Passengers are fitted with comfortable life-jackets. Safety is of the utmost importance. All cruises depart from Kleinbaai Harbour near Gansbaai. The channel of water between Dyer Island and Geyser Rock is the now world-renowned Shark Alley. This channel is part of our trip. On our whale watching and Dyer Island trips we also see Great White sharks, Bryde's whales, Humpback whales, Southern giant petrels, Cape gannets and Dolphins. You will be in awe of these mysterious creatures after a close encounter with a curious whale. Return to shore and enjoy a warm drink while watching a DVD of your day before returning to Cape Town.

!  This boat-based whale watching tour is a full day tour ranging from 7-8 hours long. You will have the opportunity to see these wonderful animals up close.  You may even get a picture perfect moment as a whale breaches, rising right out of the sea, or a gannet plunges deep into the sea to catch its dinner. 

This tour takes place in the Western Cape, leaving from Cape Town city.

Collection from your Cape Town based Hotel:  6am

•  Transfer in an air-conditioned vehicle as your guide drives you the 2 hours or so to the Great White House in Kleinbaai
• Freshen up in the bathroom facilities.  
• A chance to get a hot drink in the Restaurant 
• A brief introductory talk  
• Kitted with Life Jacker
• All cruises depart from Kleinbaai Harbour near Gansbaai.
• Dyer Island and Geyser Rock and Shark Alley.  
• Return to shore and enjoy a warm drink while watching a DVD of your day.

• Return to Cape Town arriving at your hotel late afternoon.
