What better way to experience this city than from the waters that surround it with a sea kayak adventure from Simonstown to a leisure cruise at the V&A Waterfront.
With Cape Town being surrounded by two oceans, it goes without saying that these waters play an important role in the lives of Capetonians and visitors alike. Where the warm India Ocean and the cold Benguela current meet they form one of the worlds highest diverse marine ecosystems.
Depart your city-based hotel in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle, and travel to the historic naval hamlet of Simon's Town. Embark on a sea kayaking adventure from the beachfront in a twin or single-seater Fluid kayak accompanied by a knowledgeable, fully trained and experienced sea kayak guide. Kayaks are stable and perfect for those with no experience. Head out to explore the waterways and secret coves hidden amongst pristine beaches. This is the natural environment of so many wildlife species that call the area home; penguins, dolphins, whales. After a beach landing, you will return to Seaforth Beach to change into dry clothing. Visit Boulders Beach and enjoy the penguins as they strut on the white sand or gambol in the turquoise sea.
Continue to Noordhoek Farm Village for an early lunch (to own account). Continue to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Quay 5 from where we shall depart on a cruise along the Cape coastline and experience breathtaking views of the winding coast and its iconic Table Mountain. The tour ends with a drop off at your hotel.
